Mrs Crimbles Coconut Macaroons – wheat free and gluten free
I love Mrs Crimbles Coconut Macaroons. They come in 2 different varieties. My local co-op sells the ones half coated in chocolate, so they are becoming less of a treat than these plain ones, which I spotted in ASDA the other day and pounced.
Basically, it’s just coconut and sugar stuck together with egg, but it’s very tasty, sweet and delicious. A packet will last me 3 days, as I ration myself to 2. They are a great snack when you’ve got a bit of an appetite and it’s not mealtime.
A packet of 6 costs around £1.12 in large supermarkets, a few pence more in my local co-op.
